Mojang has published on the official website of Minecraft disappointing message — the game will receive graphical updates to Super Duper Graphics Pack 4K with modern special effects and lighting.

Super Duper — an ambitious initiative that transforms Minecraft. Unfortunately, the upgrade was technically too demanding to be implemented in line with our plans.

unfortunately, we were disappointed with the performance on different platforms and have cancelled the development. We are now looking for other ways to change the game.
