PewDiePie was the first blogger that reached 100 million subscribers on YouTube

Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg was the first of the content-maker, which alone reached 100 million subscribers. He could become the only channel on YouTube with such a measure, if not Indian music channel of T-Series.

For comparison, the closest rival in the face of channel 5-Minutes Crafts is around 60 million subscribers.

YouTube, despite some friction with the blogger, congratulated him on achieving such an impressive result.

the Rise of PewDiePie did not do without scandals. In February 2017 Disney ceased to cooperate with the blogger because of the Nazi jokes and anti-Semitic insults. Then another incident — this time with racial slurs — has prompted the developer of Firewatch Sean Vanaman to file a DMCA complaint about the copyright that blocks the video on his channel, Felix and forbids him show other titles Campo Santo.

Now PewDiePie is actively engaged in the video for Minecraft, as the series celebrates its tenth anniversary.
