Artist Studio Mojang Brendan Sullivan tweeted a few videos of the prototype that he came up with when applying for a job.

According to Sullivan, when applying for a job as a test job, he offered to “rethink the appearance/style of Minecraft for new games”. Instead do the concept art, the artist decided to create a prototype of real-time strategy in the style of Minecraft.
