Minecraft moves to augmented reality
At the annual Build conference, focused primarily on developers, Microsoft announced an unnamed augmented reality project based on Minecraft. So far, only a small teaser has been presented in which the heroine sees cubic characters using a smartphone. More detailed information.
The player can change such a world at his own discretion, while the blocks can be used both in their original form and processed, and thereby receive some new materials. Of course, the player is not alone in this world. There are animals here, which, by the way, can be eaten, as well as various monsters who themselves can have a bite by the player. There are two main game modes, namely Creative and Survival. In the first, the player can practice construction, since he is not in danger. In the second, as the name implies, the player does not live, but survives. In addition, Pocket Minecraft can support multiplayer via the Internet, so there is a very real danger of discharging your own smartphone or tablet ahead of time.
Minecraft is a Swedish homemade product, before which for many months it has always been in the alpha stage, but released in 2011, it attracted at least 7 million people. A clean sandbox, with elements of society and survival, without a goal or with it if the administrator wants to enter it.
